Cookie Policy

The website uses two technical cookies and, only if you accept, one analytics cookie, described below. The website's code does not set cookies: these cookies come from the services we use. The website's code uses your browser's session storage, for technical purposes that are strictly necessary for browsing: remembering where you were on a page and trying again to load a page that failed. This storage does not hold personal data and it is deleted when you close the tab. It also uses your browser's local storage to keep your choice in the cookie notice, so that we do not ask you again on every visit. It keeps only that choice, the date you made it and the version of this policy, and we ask again after 180 days or when this policy changes. Because they are strictly necessary, these two uses do not require your consent. In particular:

• we do not use any analytics tools other than the statistics described below, or any advertising, social media pixels or embedded content from other parties, such as videos or maps;
• your conversation with PocketSphere stays only in the memory of the open page and disappears when you close the tab or reload the page.

The website uses two technical cookies. They are not set by the website's code: they come from the infrastructure that hosts and protects the website, and they are strictly necessary for it to work and stay secure:

• a security cookie, set by the hosting provider's delivery network: protects the website from automated traffic and is used to tell real visitors apart from automated programs. It lasts 30 minutes;
• a delivery cookie, set by the hosting provider: makes sure your browser receives the published version of the website. It lasts 24 hours.

They are not used for analytics or advertising. Because they are strictly necessary, they do not require your consent.

If you accept the statistics in the cookie notice, the website's usage analytics service, run by our usage and error analytics provider, sets an analytics cookie in your browser, with a random session identifier. It is used to count visits in aggregate, lasts 30 minutes and is renewed on each page viewed. It is only set after you accept and it is not set by the website's code.

The statistics and error scripts do not send any data or read or write anything in the browser before consent. If you decline, that remains the case.

With the same consent, the same provider also receives page performance data and error reports: the pages viewed, the time spent on each page, performance measurements and technical errors, with a random identifier for each visit. This data does not use cookies and is not stored in your browser.

If you decline, statistics are switched off, the analytics cookie is not set and we also do not receive error reports from your visit. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal: we do not show you the notice when you arrive on the website and statistics stay off for as long as the signal is on. If you had accepted statistics before switching the signal on, we delete the analytics cookie. Under ‘Cookie preferences’ you can see that they are off; to turn them on, you first need to switch off that signal in your browser.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it: select ‘Cookie preferences’ in the footer of any page to reopen the notice and change your choice. When you withdraw your consent, we delete the analytics cookie and the page reloads so that your new choice applies straight away.

The website links to other websites, such as WhatsApp, the Electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico), Orça Já and PadelEye. When you open one of those websites, that website's cookies and policies apply.
